The Kaduru wood is lightweight and traditionally used for wood carving by artists from generations to genaration. The wood is seasoned by using traditional methods to ensure the durability before making the craft.
The wood used is sourced according to the rules and regulation of the Forest Department of Sri Lanka and officially approved before exporting.
